Intermediate Meditation Course

The course starts Thursday 22nd May 7.30pm for 6 weeks
seascape

The course will be including a review of the important foundations for meditation as well as looking further into what is blocking you from discovering more stillness, clarity, warmth and joy in the mindfulness, loving kindness and just sitting meditation practices. You will be learning in more detail about ways to keep the initiative with the hindrances and recognise and dwell more easily in the positive, enjoyable elements of your meditation experience.

Meditation practice involves constant creativity, adjusting to all the heights and depths you meet in your own experience; we will be looking at the tools and strategies you need to negotiate and continue finding the middle way. These will enable you to feel more confident and satisfied in your ongoing journey towards cultivating more peace and kindness in your mind and life.

The course will be led by Shantidevi, who has been meditating for 17 years within the FWBO. The course structure will include small talks, discussions and explorations, opportunities for practice, questions, journal writing at home, reading tasks and peer meditation interviews.
