Melbourne Buddhist Centre
Introduction
The Melbourne Buddhist Centre in Brunswick offers a wide range of activities, including meditation and Buddhism courses and classes, seminars, retreats, arts and social events.
The centre has a well stocked bookshop and visitors are welcome to borrow from the audio and video tape library. We conduct regular public talks on Buddhism by both local and visiting speakers. The centre caters for school visits and can also arrange for speakers to visit schools and colleges.
The Melbourne Buddhist Centre is affiliated with the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order, which makes available the Buddha's teaching to people from all cultures and backgrounds. We draw inspiration from all the great Buddhist schools in a systematic way to make the practices both comprehensible and accessible within a western cultural context.

The Brunswick Centre is open between 11am and 3pm on Mondays. Come along and meditate at 12.30pm or just browse the bookshop and chat. |
