Dear Friends This special edition of Mudita is to remind you of the Sudaya Appeal. December has arrived and so has the first month of the Melbourne Buddhist's Centre Sudaya Appeal. |

The response to the Mudita Special Edition in October to introduce the Sudaya Appeal was both fast and generous but we still need more pledges and payments to meet our target. For those of you who have already contacted me to make your payments or pledges thank you very much. For those of you who contacted me within minutes of the Sudaya Appeal going out - what can I say? I'm stunned! For those of you who are still thinking about whether or not you can contribute, now is the time to decide. If you cannot make a donation in December you may wish to flag a date in 2009 when you will be able to make a contribution. There are two ways to contribute to the Sudaya Appeal. Firstly - you can click on the link below to get a Monthly Standing Donation (MSD) form. Monthly donations of $20 make an annual donation of $240 (From December 2008 - November 2009). If you can and wish to pay more, so much the better. If you cannot afford $20 per month, by all means, pay what you can. Monthly standing donation forms are available via this link, or at the bottom of this newsletter or picked up from the MBC office. Secondly - you could make a one-off contribution either now, in December, or at a nominated date in 2009. Which ever method you decide upon please contact Jivita by email at timhehir@iprimus.com.au or by phone on (03) 9386 2261 to say what you will be paying so that we can track the payments to ensure they are all allocated correctly.
